Don't Take the Path of Discouragement

God has a specific plan for your life. But what if you've started down the path God has called you on and you keep facing discouragement?
As the inspired author of over half the New Testament, Paul faced a whirlwind of discouragement. Sometimes words can hurt as bad as being shipwrecked, imprisoned and stoned. In Galatia, Paul found a group of people who accused him of being a secondhand apostle, deficient compared to James and Peter. They claimed his doctrine was incorrect, saying he was compromising the Gospel.
There are many things in the world to discourage you, including what others may say about you or to you. Paul did not let that stop him and neither should you.
Do not give up on what God has called you to do.
God will give you strength, meet your needs, and encourage you. But you must keep your focus on the Lord, and renew your mind with His Word daily. His plans for you are bigger and better than you could ever imagine. When you feel discouraged, speak His word. His Word in faith will bring peace, power and blessing into your life.
